Design of novel 3D scaffolds for RNA delivery
My research project is focused on design of 3D hydrogel-polymer brush composites for sustained intracellular delivery of RNAs. This project would explore physicochemical aspects of RNA loading within the cationic polymer brushes, retention stability of polyplexes within the hydrogel matrix and the impact of delivered RNAs in regulating gene expressions. This project is currently funded by UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) under Commonwealth Rutherford Fellowship scheme.
